  • $1,500,000 Verdict: Dram Shop Liability and Assault: Plaintiff suffered serious eye injury and facial scarring from a deep laceration as a result of a physical altercation that arose in a restaurant as a group of inebriated businessmen were attempting to settle the bill. Plaintiff was required to undergo several surgeries to restore vision to his once ruptured eyeball.
  • $1,380,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident, Plaintiff was a passenger in a motor vehicle that was struck by the Defendant who failed to observe a yield signal and struck the front driver’s side of the Plaintiff’s vehicle. Plaintiff sustained injuries to her cervical spine, lumbar spine and right shoulder. The injuries result in the Plaintiff getting right shoulder surgery, lumbar surgery and then a lumbar fusion
  • $1,150,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident, Plaintiff was a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle while crossing the street in a marked crosswalk and sustained multiple injuries. Plaintiff herniated discs in both her neck and back and sustained tears in both her shoulders. Her injuries were permanent in nature and she required a cervical discectomy and fusion and surgery in both shoulders.
  • $850,000 Settlement: : Automobile Accident: Plaintiff was involved in a head on collision and sustained a disc herniation in her cervical spine; she initially elected conservative treatment and received a series of epidural injections, but ultimately required cervical fusion surgery to alleviate the pain.
  • $875,000 Settlement: Tractor-trailer Accident: Plaintiff sustained injuries to her neck, lower back, wrists and the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) as a result of a motor vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer. The driver of the tractor-trailer failed to maintain a safe between his vehicle and Plaintiff’s vehicle and collided with Plaintiff’s vehicle in the rear. The Plaintiff initially elected conservative treatment and received a series of epidural injections to her neck and lower back, but ultimately required lumbar fusion surgery to alleviate the pain. She received one cortisone injection to each wrist. A few days following mediation, a settlement was reached in the amount of $875,000.00.
  • $735,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff was hospitalized for 1 month with sustained injuries to her chest and spleen with multiple neck and back injuries. She was a passenger in her husband's vehicle when they were hit by another vehicle who was avoiding a motorcycle that darted out in front of him.
  • $700,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff suffered multiple fractures to her legs and to her mandible requiring multiple surgeries when her automobile was struck by a tractor/trailer which jackknifed on the roadway and struck her vehicle. A settlement was reached with the trucking company during trial.
  • $530,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident: A negligent driver failed to stop at the stop sign before entering the intersection causing a collision with plaintiff. As a result plaintiff sustained several injuries: a shoulder tear necessitating arthroscopic surgery; a herniated disc in his lumbar spine requiring fusion surgery; and bilateral knee injury which was treated conservatively.
  • $510,840 Settlement: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff was involved in a rear end collision and sustained a disc herniation in her lumbar spine; she initially elected conservative treatment and received a series of epidural injections, but ultimately required lumbar fusion surgery to alleviate the pain.
  • $475,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident - Plaintiff suffered an aggravation injury to his lower back, and Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy effect to his right arm when a vehicle in which he was a passenger was struck at an intersection. A settlement was reached just prior to trial.
  • $463,000 Settlement: Premises Liability: Plaintiff suffered a fractured finger, a torn tendon in her ankle, and subsequent Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy after hand surgery as the result of a slip and fall on a wet bathroom floor in the course of visiting a premises in the course of her employment. In addition to obtaining disability payments from her employer, a settlement of her liability claim against the owner of the premises was negotiated on the eve of trial.
  • $460,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident, Plaintiff was struck while crossing the street in a marked crosswalk and sustained multiple injuries. Plaintiff herniated discs in both his lumbar and cervical spine, a tear to his right shoulder, and a foot fracture. Despite initial conservative treatment for his spine injuries, plaintiff ultimately required two fusion surgeries in his spine, arthroscopic surgery for his shoulder; and surgery for his foot fracture.
  • $450,000 Settlement: Premises Liability: Plaintiff suffered herniated discs in his lumbar spine as a result of a fall on a construction site, which required back surgery. He was on the job site as a roofer, and slipped on ice while walking from his truck to the building under construction. In addition to obtaining to disability payments from his employer, a settlement of his claims against the General Contractor for failure to keep the workplace safe was obtained.
  • $430,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff was involved in a rear-end collision wherein the impact of the collision was low. Plaintiff sustained neck injuries and there was a delay in treatment for 9 months after the accident occurred.
  • $375,000 Verdict: Automobile Accident: As a result of a rear end collision, Plaintiff, a young woman passenger, sustained numerous severe disc bulges in her lumbar and cervical spine causing radiculopathy to her lower extremity. Plaintiff received extensive conservative treatment and also received a series of epidural injections, and other invasive surgical measures.
  • $370,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident: As a result of a rear end collision, plaintiff, a passenger, sustained multiple injuries. Plaintiff suffered disc herniations in both her lumbar and cervical spine causing radiculopathy to her lower extremity, TMJ dysfunction, and knee injury Despite initial efforts to treat her injuries with conservative measures, plaintiff ultimately required invasive surgical procedures for all of her injuries.
  • $370,000 Settlement: Premises liability:Retaining wall collapsed on plaintiff shortly after she exited her parked car. Plaintiff suffered a Lis Franc fracture to her foot/ankle requiring extensive surgery resulting the insertion of hardware, and also suffered soft tissue spine injuries.
  • $350,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff was involved in a rear end collision and sustained multiple bulges and herniations to her cervical spine causing radiculopathy to her upper extremity. Plaintiff underwent a series of epidural injections, but ultimately required cervical fusion surgery.
  • $350,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff was involved in a rear end collision and struck her head on the interior of her car causing her to sustain TMJ dysfunction and herniation to her lumbar spine. While plaintiff elected no to undergo invasive surgery for the TMJ dysfunction, she underwent fusion surgery for her spine injury.
  • $325,000 Verdict: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff suffered multiple herniated discs due to a rear end collision with another vehicle, and missed 8 months of work. He received conservative treatment consisting of chiropractic treatment, but no invasive injections or surgery.
  • $325,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident: Defendant driver lost control of his vehicle in snowy conditions striking the parked car in which plaintiff was a passenger. Plaintiff sustained multiple disc bulges and herniations in her cervical spine causing radiculopathy in her upper extremities. Plaintiff initially underwent conservative treatment but required a series of epidural injections, as well as cervical fusion surgery.
  • $300,000 Settlement: Premises liability: Plaintiff slipped and fell due to a hazardous condition left on the floor of a supermarket. As a result, plaintiff sustained a wrist fracture which required treatment in the Emergency Room, and multiple herniations in her lumbar and cervical spine which caused radiculopathy to her upper extremity. Plaintiff was initially treated conservatively but ultimately required a series of epidural injections for her neck and back pain.
  • $279,500 Settlement: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff was involved in a rear end collision and suffered a shoulder tear as well as multiple disc herniations in her cervical spine. Plaintiff required arthroscopic surgery for her shoulder injury; and a fusion surgery for her spine injury.
  • $250,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff sustained multiple cervical & lumbar disc herniations with radiculopathy to all four extremities. In addition, plaintiff struck his head in the collision causing permanent partial hearing loss due to perilymphatic fistula syndrome leaking spinal fluid into his auditory canal.
  • $250,000 Verdict: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff was involved in a rear end collision causing him to sustain multiple herniations and tears to the discs in his lumbar and cervical spine causing radiculopathy in his upper extremity. Plaintiff underwent conservative treatment as well as numerous epidural injections with only minimal relief. Defendant argued that the injuries were not causally related because of the minimal impact, and refused to settle.
  • $175,000 Verdict: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff seriously injured his back and shoulder in an automobile accident. The injuries did not resolve with conservative treatment and ultimately required invasive surgery. Defendant refused to settle, arguing that the injuries pre-existed and were not caused by the accident. At trial, the jury found in favor of the plaintiff.
