$1,380,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident, Plaintiff was a passenger in a motor vehicle that was struck by the Defendant who failed to observe a yield signal and struck the front driver’s side of the Plaintiff’s vehicle. $1,150,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident, Plaintiff was a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle while crossing the street in a marked crosswalk and sustained multiple injuries. Plaintiff herniated discs in both her neck and back and sustained tears in both her shoulders. Her injuries were permanent in nature and she required a cervical discectomy and fusion and surgery in both shoulders.
$875,000 Settlement: Pedestrian Knockdown: Plaintiff was crossing a crosswalk when violently struck on the left side by the Defendant’s motor vehicle. The impact caused Plaintiff to be thrown into the air and fall backwards causing her to sustain injuries to her neck, back, bilateral knees and left shoulder. The Plaintiff underwent a cervical fusion, left shoulder surgery and left knee surgery.
$875,000 Settlement: Tractor-trailer Accident: Plaintiff sustained injuries to her neck, lower back, wrists and the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) as a result of a motor vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer. The driver of the tractor-trailer failed to maintain a safe between his vehicle and Plaintiff’s vehicle and collided with Plaintiff’s vehicle in the rear. The Plaintiff initially elected conservative treatment and received a series of epidural injections to her neck and lower back, but ultimately required lumbar fusion surgery to alleviate the pain. She received one cortisone injection to each wrist. A few days following mediation, a settlement was reached in the amount of $875,000.00.
$850,000 Settlement: : Automobile Accident: Plaintiff was operating his motor vehicle when struck by Defendant. Plaintiff sustained injuries to his neck, back, left arm and right knee. Plaintiff underwent several cervical and lumbar epidural injections and a total knee replacement. Subsequent to the injections, Plaintiff’s pain did not subside therefore resulting in the Plaintiff to undergo a discectomy and lumbar fusion.

Defendant argued low impact and hired a biomechanical engineer to claim that the accident could not have caused any injuries.
$735,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident: Plaintiff was hospitalized for 1 month with sustained injuries to her chest and spleen with multiple neck and back injuries. She was a passenger in her husband's vehicle when they were hit by another vehicle who was avoiding a motorcycle that darted out in front of him.

$463,000 Settlement: Premises Liability: Plaintiff suffered a fractured finger, a torn tendon in her ankle, and subsequent Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy after hand surgery as the result of a slip and fall on a wet bathroom floor in the course of visiting a premises in the course of her employment. In addition to obtaining disability payments from her employer, a settlement of her liability claim against the owner of the premises was negotiated on the eve of trial.
